David Broome joined the Navy after graduation. He has served in the Mediterranean and West Pacific (Vietnam). David has worked for Citizen’s Telephone (now Windstream) for 36 years in various capacities, from lineman, installer, cable splicer, supervisor, manager and is currently an Engineer. He also works part time with Tractor Supply as sales associate. David married the former Wanda Davis of Lexington in 1971 and they have one son, Christopher who is 31 and married with two sons.
